I Martha Fulford of Kenilworth in the County of Warwick Widow declare this to be my last Will and Testament I give and bequeath to my friend and executor hereinafter named five pounds for the trouble that he will have in carrying out the trusts of this my Will I give and bequeath to Hannah Fulford William Fulford Elizabeth Gale and Mary Salmon four of the children of Henry Fulford of Coleshill ten pounds a piece I give and bequeath to my Executor the sum of fifty pounds Upon Trust to invest the same on such securities as he shall think fit and pay the interest arising from such investment to my brother Ephraim Jones during his life and after his decease I give the said sum to his Wife Mary Jones if she shall survive her said husband for her absolute use but if she but if she should die before her husband then I give and bequeath the same to such of the children of the said Ephraim Jones by his said Wife as shall be living at his decease to be equally divided between them and I give to each of my six nephews and nieces John William Mary Ann Martha and Hannah Jones fifteen pounds And all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate I give and bequeath to my Sister in law Mary the wife of the said Ephraim Jones for her own absolute use and benefit Provided always and I do here expressly charge a sum of two hundred pounds now three and a quarter per cent consols standing in my name in the books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England with the payment of the said pecuniary legacies in.... of my residuary estate and if the same sum of two hundred pounds and the accumulations thereof shall prove insufficient to pay the said several bequests then the same shall proportionately abate and be reduced accordingly And Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint Thomas Fraser of Kenilworth aforesaid Grocer Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said Martha Fulford have hereunto set my hand the fifth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty eight _ Martha Fulford
